Dr. Hamadeh is chair of family medicine and CMIO at the American University of Beirut Medical Center. He completed residency training and faculty development fellowship in South Carolina, USA and is American Board certified in both Family Medicine & Clinical Informatics. He is the immediate past president of the Arab Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Hamadeh’s current active projects include promoting the Wellness Center at Family Medicine, a General Practice online and live skills course, a management skills capacity building course for patient advocacy groups and supporting Ministry of Public Health adoption of EHRs in coordination with WHO regional office.
