Inaugurated in April 2011, the Bellevue International Training Center (BITC) was created with the goal to offer world-class education and trainings covering a wide variety of medical topics. The talks are conducted by and aimed at healthcare professionals.

One of the center’s main activities is offering up-to-date American Heart Association (AHA) resuscitation training that follows the most recent guidelines. Over the course of the years, over 12 instructors at Bellevue have received intensive guidance by the AHA’s regional and international staff and have now been certified to provide training to others.

The new facility is well-lit and designed adequately to serve as a modern center outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment and mannequins. The center has already successfully offered several training sessions to healthcare providers inside and outside Bellevue, as well as a number of interested members from the general public.

The center offers two BITC/AHA resuscitation programs:

• Training in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Training in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
