Lebanese Healthcare Management Association
Dr Nabil Kronfol is the founder of the Lebanese Healthcare Management Association and the co-founder of the Center for Studies on Aging in Lebanon.
Dr Kronfol completed his undergraduate degree with distinction at AUB. He continued his specialty training in Pediatrics at Harvard Children Hospital, and then joined the Harvard School of Public Health and was graduated with a Doctorate in Public Health.
Dr Kronfol joined AUB in 1974 and moved through the academic ladder to become Chairman of Department in 1979 and full professor in 1985. He served as Deputy VP for Health – External Programs (1986-1992).
Throughout his career, Dr Kronfol served as advisor to Ministries of Health in Lebanon, and many countries in the Middle East, in addition to being Consultant to the WHO, World Bank, UNICEF, UNDP and other organizations. He served for ten years on the Founding Board of Trustees of the Aga Khan University.
