It’s time for your teddy bear annual check up

What is the Tedy Bear Clinic?
The Teddy Bear Clinic is an inititiative that aims to help familiarize young children with the care they may experience if they have to make a trip to the hospital. Experts agree that often a big part of the fear is that children don’t know what to expect, or sometimes have the wrong idea about medical treatment. On another hand, children are extremely vulnerable to fear and lasting impressions, so one bad experience at a doctor’s clinic can last for very long.

Bellevue is a pioneer in launching this initiative in Lebanon and has been conducting it for several years.

This year, we are taking it online!

If you have a kid between 3 and 10 years old, join us with him/her on Saturday, July 11 at 11 am, and don’t forget to have with them their favorite Teddy Bear! They will get to learn about health checks, vaccines, hand hygiene, proper dieting, proper medication, and much more, and will of course receive a certificate for being a great caregiver!

Dr. Patricia Kaldany is the head of the Pediatrics department at Bellevue Medical Center. She is a member of the American board of pediatrics. She is also specialized in pediatric infectious diseases. Dr Kaldany is known for her special approach with children who love her teddy bear stethoscope.

Prior to the event, you will receive an email with all needed material for an amazing experience during the session.

To be able to prepare your kid’s certificate, please take a photo of him/her attending the session and post it on Facebook and/or Instagram, tagging @bellevuelebanon, or simply send it to us by email!

Parents are required to attend the session with their kids.
