Hospital Activities

To help familiarize young children with medical care, Bellevue Medical Center held its sixth  annual “Teddy Bear Clinic” on May 14th and 15th,  hosting around 450 students aged 4-6 from three schools. This interactive event aims to reduce children’s fear of hospital environment by teaching them about health check-ups, vaccines, x-rays, lab tests, hand hygiene, proper diet, medication, and it even includes meeting Lebanese Red Cross volunteers and visiting an ambulance.

On May 16th and 17th and June 3rd, Bellevue Medical Center organized the “Know, Choose, Achieve” Youth Health Campaign, providing health education to adolescents aged 15-17, and promoting well-being and informed decision-making for a healthier future. Interactive workshops, educational booths, and Q&A sessions led by healthcare professionals covered topics such as nutrition, mental wellness, substance abuse prevention, sexual health, smoking cessation, and basic life support. The event also raised awareness about distracted driving in collaboration with Kun Hadi NGO.
